Meet Dr. Sparacino

Dr. Sparacino is a board-certified adult & geriatric psychiatrist and has been in practice more than 15-years.

She specializes in the management of mood and anxiety disorders, memory disorders and helping folks manage the stress associated with life transitions and complicated medical illnesses.

Dr. Sparacino studied International Politics & Economics at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT. She then continued on to study medicine at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where she received her doctorate in medicine (MD). Dr. Sparacino joined Temple University’s Psychiatry Residency Program in July, 2007 and served as Chief Resident for Education in her final year. She then completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

My Background

Dr. Sparacino has served patients in a myriad of settings including a large nursing home, small assisted living facilities, inpatient, outpatient and in the psychiatric emergency room. Dr. Sparacino also remains actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows; and volunteers as clinical adjunct faculty for the University of Miami and Florida International University.

My Approach & Philosophy

Dr. Sparacino is a board-certified adult & geriatric psychiatrist and has been in practice more than 15-years. She specializes in the management of mood and anxiety disorders, memory disorders and helping folks manage the stress associated with life transitions and complicated medical illnesses. She offers telepsychiatric care in Florida primarily during evening and weekend hours. She is fluent in Spanish.
